"We can't say enough good things about Greg. He was easy to work with and very accommodating. He read the crowd perfectly and played a great variety of music that appealed to our guests of all ages and backgrounds. He kept us on the dance floor all night!"

I just wanted to thank you for working with me on getting Greg to DJ my wedding. I want to personally thank him as well, I'd like to call him, but I lost has CELL phone number, so if you could reply and give it to me, I'd love to call him. He did a WONDERFUL job at my wedding and I have been telling EVERYONE I know that's getting married to get GT Entertainment!!! He was so awesome! My grandmother that works at Dorothy B. Oven Park has been recommending him to all their customers that have booked weddings there after mine. He is worth every penny!!!!! He takes care of the bride and groom. He started coordinating my wedding......and the wedding coordinator was sitting down!!!! She did NOTHING! Greg really knows what he's doing and made my wedding a blast!!! I had so much fun! They say that you won't be able to enjoy your own wedding because it goes by so fast, but that's not so if you have Greg there! He played GREAT music, a great variety, he had a microphone so I could sing :-) He was just wonderful! THANK YOU!!!!!!! If you could, please reply with his cell so I can call him. Thank you so much! Take care! Amber Maxwell.....now Amber Jones! :-)

"I really want to thank Greg and his staff at GT Entertainment for all that they did to ensure that our wedding was a big success! he had lots of creative ways to get folks out on the dance floor. I don't think I've danced so much in my life! but all of our guests said how fabulous the wedding was and it wouldn't have been the same without GT Entertainment. Unlike other Deejays, Greg takes the time to listen and make sure he plays music that you want, not what is pop culture or generic wedding tunes. Our wedding was a completely unique and unforgettable experience that I will cherish forever. our guests may not recall in a few years what my dress looked like or what food was served or even what decorations we had. but they will always remember an evening of dance and laughter! Thanks, Greg, for truly exceeding our expectations!" - Jenna and Paul Brown
We had such a great time!!!! We couldn't have asked for anything better. Our day was PERFECT! The pictures are a lot of fun too! You kept everyone dancing from the first song to the last! How cool are you???!!! We especially liked the last dance. That was a great surprise that made our night even more special! Many, many thanks.
" Greg you are an amazing DJ, nope amazing doesn't describe it, more like phenomenal! Thank you so much for helping make Jim and I's wedding so awesome. You played all the right music, no one wanted to get off of the dance floor, especially me. I have already been recommending you to everyone I know. Thank you again!
You Rock!!!! Unlike most brides, my top priority was not the type of cake or color of ribbons displayed on the church pews, it was the music. Greg fully exceeded my expectations and gave me the reception of my dreams. Everyone, from my 3 year-old niece to my 78 year-old grandma danced the night away. Not only did Greg ensure that my reception was a success, he paved the way for others. My aunt in Ohio was taking notes for her daughter's wedding the entire time! Until that night, I did not fully realize all that went into being a successful D.J. GT Entertainment encompasses it all! Thank you Greg for providing not only the fun, but the direction, for the biggest and best party of my life. - Emily Turner
Greg, I just wanted to say thank you for our wonderful wedding reception a month ago. You are the best! I have been looking at the pictures and the lights were great. I didn't even notice them at the time, but it made the pictures look really cool and I'm sure enhanced the mood of the evening, even though I was in a fog and did not notice that night. Anyway, I just wanted to say thanks. You have impressed me as such a great guy and I was happy to have you do our reception. Take care. Cathy
Good DJs in Tallahassee are not easy to find. Just ask anybody who has tried to book GT Entertainment and realized that they're not available. That's why my now-husband, Mitch, and I got Greg's card before we were even engaged!
He was the DJ at our friends' Gretchen and Mike's wedding, and when we saw how many people were dancing - we knew we wanted him!
Even though we planned our wedding for a year and a half down the road - we booked Greg as soon as we got engaged in December Next years calendars weren't even made yet - Greg had to write our date on the last day of his calendar!
During our engagement, we kept in touch with Greg and got ideas from him. It was reassuring to know that everything would go smoothly, especially because he is so laid back.
Some wedding vendors cause more stress to the bride because they are stressed out and disorganized themselves!
Another wonderful thing is that he has relationships with many Tallahassee vendors, so he was able to coordinate with them easily. He's also been a DJ at so many places, he knows the setup of the reception place and didn't have to bother us with those details.
Before the wedding, Greg came to our house to discuss last-minute details. What made me feel so comfortable is that Greg asked me if there was anything we needed help with or if there is anything that he could do to make the day easier for us. The day before, he even called from the music store to see if there were any special CDs we could think of that we didn't mention earlier!
On the wedding day, Greg greeted us at the reception and got us prepared to make our big entrance. Most importantly, he asked us what he could do for us!
It is so nice that he has assistants that can help him while he focuses on US! A person can't help but feel special and taken care of. He played all the songs we requested and had some special surprises that got even the most shy people out on the dance floor!
People also loved that Greg took their requests. My aunt really wanted to hear a Michael Jackson and disco music, so Greg played them for her! I've been to weddings where the DJ played what he wanted and wasn't very concerned about the bride and groom or the guests and didn't have a very big selection of songs. One DJ at my friend's wedding even got on the dance floor himself, which was is so unprofessional!
It's important for a DJ to know a couple's personality, which Greg makes sure he does. He found out quickly that Mitch and I are not shy, so he knew he could put us in the middle of the dance floor! One of my favorite of the many things Greg did is that he and his assistant took photos on their digital camera all night. He posted the pictures online immediately and I was able to send the pictures to my friends and family! I was thrilled! Some people thought I was silly to book GT Entertainment so far in advance, but chances are - if we had waited - somebody else would've snatched him up and our wedding reception wouldn't have been nearly as fun as it was! - Mandy and Mitch Rogers
wedding reception tips, advice a lot of DJ's dont know (or care) to give
1. Table placement- When setting up your guest and where you would like to have them sit. Don't have them sit near the speakers. Even low volumes are too much for folks that may have a harder time hearing across the table.
2. Take care of the DJ. "Don't you forget about me" Please make sure your decorating plans include and table and covering for the DJ's table. Nothing looks worse than a beautiful room and a DJ table that is not covered. Many use the table to hide our wires so our gear can look as pretty as possible.
3. Make sure you meet your DJ. The Bait and Switch practice is common around the US (and here in Tally) GT Entertainment puts in our contracts who will be the DJ, and you will meet with that DJ.
I can't imagine showing up to a wedding not knowing the DJ. I say if the company can't put in writing who will be your DJ, move on to one that will.
4. GT Entertainment was voted Best DJ Company in town, LOL I just love to write that. It's something we are very proud of.
