From The Wedding Wire
The Bride's Choice Awards recognizes
vendors from the WeddingWire Network that demonstrate excellent quality
of service, responsiveness, professionalism, value of cost and
flexibility. Unlike other awards in which winners are selected by the
company, the Bride's Choice Awards are determined exclusively by recent
newlyweds (brides and grooms) through surveys and reviews. Our winning
vendors have set the bar high for this competition, demonstrating
excellent service and expertise in their industry.
This has been an awesome last few days for us!!
I wanted to thank everyone for the wonderful phone calls, text and Facebook messages on our TallyAward win! It was a great night! I also (should of first) have to thank ALL the guys and Rael for working so hard this year for GT Entertainment, without them NONE of this would be possible.
The gala had over 500 people attending and it was an absolutely wonderful event to be associated with.
I have to thank Ed Mills from Everything Tallahassee for the extremely kind words he said about me on stage during the gala. It was very appreciated, unexpected and very moving. Thank you Ed for all the work you do for our community!
SO THANK YOU TALLAHASSEE! Thank you for really letting us know you are enjoying the work we do for you....lets go for five!

The TallyAwards being a finalist and a co-host…
I was asked last year to co-host the TallyAwards (the SOLD OUT awards show is this Saturday at Club Rayn), and since we are finalist I thought I would answer some questions for you, since some of these questions have been raised with us and Everything Tallahassee.
I have emceed (hosted) many, many events around
No, and Everything Tallahassee keeps those a secret until the night of the TallyAwards. They have even bumped me from being on stage when our categories are being called. My list of winners will NOT include the two categories we are in. I will receive an edited list of winners when we go on stage to announce them. Honestly, I don’t want to know if we won and win or lose being involved with this has been a wonderful experience. I know that sound cliché but, it really has been fun helping with this event.
So I hope that ends any rumblings going on that the fix is
in…best of luck to all the finalist!
P.S.S...This is the first time is I have ever hosted this event and since we have won three times before without me hosting, I really see this as a non-issue.
I could write for hours about last night but it wouldn't do any justice to the fun we had!
GREAT NIGHT! Congrats "Mo" and Joe!!!
John Gandy Events had the FSU Alumni Center looking beautiful!
I got to work with BOTH the Long's too! I love working with them Olyn and Linda are sooo talented and so great to work with visit them at Long's Photography
Andrews did the food and drinks and as always everything was top notch.
Well I did a first in December. I deleted the files on my camera before I made the videoblogs. So for the first time I went a month with no videoblogs and they were fun weddings. Im using a different camera today as we are trying to recover the files on the other one.
I am going to do a different kind of videoblog this year. Im going to a monthly videoblog kind of a megamix videoblog. They are tons of work and I am finding it harder and harder to find several hours each week to edit. I have found a new respect for those that do video for a living...IT'S TOUGH WORK!
The TallyAwards are coming up at the end of the month and we are finalist once again for best DJ company along with our friends Steve Christian and the John Summers Music Machine. Two legends around Tallahassee. I think John has been DJing since Star Wars came out...the very first one. That's a long, long time ago. Steve has been around a long time also and just to be a finalist with these two is an honor in itself.
We are keeping our fingers crossed that we win and keep our mini-streak alive. I think we are also finalist for best event planners...I don't think we deserve to be in this category...but being a finalist is great!
Well Im off for the first wedding of 2009 today at the University Club...oh yeah, dont forget to book your event. Dont forget to visit the MEET THE DJ's section on the blog.
2009 is filling up very quick so dont delay!
